I watched this last night. It was good, but instead of thinking about the story’s allegory, I just wondered if Cormac McCarthy has awful nightmares and if when he wakes up, does he write them down in a notebook by his bedside table and then later spin them into Pulitzer Prize-winning fiction? Yeah, that’s probably how most of the great writers of our time operate.
Then I watched Jersey Shore. It was much more disturbing than anything I saw in the movie. (VINNY N ANGELINA 4 REAL?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!)
