This book has no chapters. It makes sense though, as there’s no break in the action. It all takes place in one day. It’s a veritable Run Lola Run through the non-stop thoughts of a 17yr old kid in Manhattan.
Somehow this novel is being marketed as for young adults (people have drawn Catcher in the Rye comparisons), but that seems like a misnomer. It’s a great book for anyone to get sucked into. Some parts are brutal, but it’s worth the ride. Trust the journey the author takes you on.
This one will benefit from numerous reads. Highly recommended.
