I’m going to see Wilco in less than a month at Red Rocks. And with a lady who is going willingly! That’s reason for celebration!
So I’m listening to Kicking Television this afternoon, their live album from a few years back, which has the song Wishful Thinking on it.
This is a verse from that song:

Just kidding, that’s a Lil Wayne verse. Ok, still kidding. I don’t know why, but that verse feels like a hug and a punch in the stomach at the same time.
