aj-disaster asked: I don't get it. That "joke" you posted that was near Zoolander levels of absurdity. I feel like that first like could use more punctuation, so that i can understand it more... and how about with the last bit with the Pt, Au and that other thing... (whats this mean? ) . . . do i need to be intelligent to understand this joke? I'm just really bothered by the fact that im having serious trouble trying to understand it....thats all. =]
Since no one really understood the joke in the last post, here is a breakdown. Here’s the joke:
“This year promises an “interactive runway presentation in which the audience will experience the elements”, but if you want to experience the models, you’ll probably need some Pt, Ag, and Au.”
Pt, Ag, and Au are all on the periodic table of the elements and are better known as platinum, silver and gold. This joke implies that models are money-hungry whores who will only date men who shower them with expensive gifts. Get it?
(The author of sharingtime.info does not believe all women are money-hungry whores. Just the ones he’s dated. BOOM! AM I RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!?!!!?!?!!??!?!?!?!?)
(I really need some sleep.)
