Everywhere but New York, kids. Everywhere but New York.
(yesterday on a local bus here in Colorado)
Attractive lady watches a video on her iPod. Dude behind her taps her on the shoulder. She turns around. He says something complimentary about the video and asks to listen.
She says yes! No, really! Without hesitation, folks. She hands her headphones over to him. He jams along. They talk for a minute, exchange names (but not numbers or emails) and he gets off at the next stop.
When you stop assuming everyone you meet is a murderer or rapist or psycho*, it really opens things up, don’t it?
*Assume everyone you meet in NYC is, as recent research has determined 95% of New Yorkers have been convicted of a capital crime.
