Rejected cop show ideas I’ve recently pitched to major networks

• “When Harry Met Sally, But With Murder” - completely platonic hetero bff’s work in the CSI unit of the Detroit PD and try to solve murders while also trying NOT TO FALL SO HARD IN LOVE WITH ONE ANOTHER
• “Bodies” - two forensic pathologists walk through the Bodies exhibit and try to determine what killed the people in them, other than shame
• “Death, Actually” - a show wherein every actor in Love, Actually is murdered, and a hardened homicide detective has to solve the murder within 48 hours or else they’ll start casting an unauthorized sequel with different actors, which would definitely not do the original any justice!!!!
• “Murder (Murder)” - a lonely TV writer of procedural cop show finds himself blackmailed and at the center of a murder investigation, and the only way he can get himself out of it is to write an episode of his own show that’s ripped from the headlines so that there’s a tear in the spacetime continuum and life as we know it ceases to exist
