Sheffield’s book Love Is A Mixtape was amazing, so I gave this one a shot. It’s a quick read. If you’re way into ’80s music, you’ll probably like this more than I did. I found that my enjoyment of reading this book went way up when I started going on youtube and watching the videos for the songs he was mentioning that I hadn’t heard of before.
I give this book 2.5 out of 4 Duran Durans. And be sure to check out “Cars With The Boom” by L’Trimm, a song I did not know existed before I read this book. It is about two ladies who enjoy cars.
