I’ll probably just go with, “Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?”

Even my thoughts are politically correct. When I see a picture of someone who is not particularly attractive, my reaction is not what it should be (please note: I am not particularly attractive, but unlike these people, I’m not particularly unattractive either).

Normal thoughts to think after seeing a horribly ugly person:

  • That is one ugly girl.
  • That man is hideous and should be sent to jail for his crimes against humanity.
  • She looks like a clown who had eaten only makeup threw up on her face.
  • Has that man showered in the past two weeks?

My reaction to every single picture of an ugly person I see online:

  • That’s unfortunate.

That’s unfortunate?! Now granted, many people don’t ask to be ugly (for those that do, you brought this upon yourself), so “that’s unfortunate” does tip the hat to the fact that people can’t control the shitty genes their parents have given them. Thus, how they look is unfortunate.

On the other hand, if you take a picture of yourself from a bad angle, if you look like you posted the 407th posed picture you took of yourself in Photo Booth (we can tell) or if you don’t take care of yourself (which is fine, just stop posting pictures!), you deserve a worse thought than “that’s unfortunate.”
