If you read this post by mistake…
I love getting emails with disclaimers at the bottom. Like this:
“IF YOU RECEIVED THIS COMMUNICATION BY MISTAKE, please don’t forward it to anyone else (it may contain confidential or privileged information), please erase all copies of it, including all attachments, and please let the sender know it went to the wrong person. Thanks.”
So when I get emails with that, I like to reply with this:
“Dear lady,
I THINK I RECEIVED THIS COMMUNICATION BY MISTAKE. I have not forwarded it to anyone else except my mom, since she looks out for me and does my laundry and makes me breakfast each morning. I live with her. She is cool. But no one else!! Once I sent it to my mom, I deleted the email, just like you said! Then I set my computer on fire and accidentally burned my house to the ground. I’m glad though because it’s better than someone accidentally reading your IMPORTANT BUSINESS EMAIL about IMPORTANT BUSINESS THINGS that contribute NOTHING TO SOCIETY and would make NO ONE SAD if your business disappeared tomorrow. I am writing this email to you on a public library’s computer. Don’t worry, I’m setting this one on fire too. Thanks.”
