A big thank you to the library for allowing me to read a book I would not purchase in a million years. I’d read a lot of these pieces when they were initially published in Esquire, back when I subscribed to that magazine. They were enjoyable when I first read them, but not so much the second time around.
Recommended if you’re looking for something light to read before bed as long as you don’t keep in mind that life is short and you probably don’t have the chance to read too many books before it’s over, so you maybe want to be more discerning about what you read.
