I wish I hadn't looked
I just googled the name of a kid who lived down the street from me growing up. I have fond memories of sleepovers involving the movie “Problem Child 2” and numerous games of Risk.
I haven’t kept in touch with him at all for at least 15 years. He has an unusual name, so I’m 99% sure that my friend back then is the same guy who wrote this in March 2008:
“…Very funny how the groups/Party that wishes to move “God” out of the Pledge of Allegiance, any reference of the Ten Commandments out of Public Buildings (not that our Nation, culture, and code of law)(or that murdering, slander, adultry, etc is really “offensive” or “exclusionary”), public references or celebrations of Christ during the holidays (after all Easter is based on the dying of eggs), promote the active aiding of murder children that survive late term abortions, etc. (God I could go on forever without trying) all the sudden has found “God” when it became apparent that the majority of Americans love and cherish our Faith and is a proven vote winner. I am not afraid to recognize the faults in the Republican party but it pales in comparison to the hypocracy, deceitfulness, and evil that is the Democratic/Progressive.”
Yikes! Maybe it was a good thing we didn’t keep our friendship past 6th grade.
