Dear Portland,
I’m waiting to fly back to New York right now for the red-eye. As I think back on the past few days we spent together, I thought about my expectations going in.
“It’ll be fun, probably!” I thought.
You were more than fun. You exceeded all my expectations. If you didn’t rain 9 months out of the year, I would move to be with you and we’d hang out all the time.
Your restaurants are awesome, your people are friendly (excluding the ones on meth) and your scenery is unmatched. You’ve got it all.
I look forward to visiting you again soon!
