After watching Michael Moore’s Sicko, it occured to me that if “Scrubs” took place in the UK, the show would be much less interesting. I mean, there’d be no need for a bureaucrat like Dr. Kelso!
Oh, and I guess it also made me sad that we choose to have profitable insurance companies over healthy people. David Simon said it best when he was talking about the Postmodern world in general, but it fits here perfectly: “It’s the triumph of capitalism over human value.”
